Harnessing the power of heat to help relax tense muscles and calm a busy mind, hot stone is an incredibly relaxing technique that will have your patients/clients melting into your table. In this one day hands on course, you’ll learn: - Benefits of hot stone massage - Properties of basalt, jade and marble and why they are used in stone massage - Contraindications/Side effects - Required Equipment/Safety considerations/Sanitation - How to perform a full body hot stone treatment Bring your own linens (set of sheets, face cradle cover & one hand towel required. You may also wish to bring a blanket). Electric tables, lubricants & hot stone kits will be available to students for training purposes. Certificate of completion Receipt for tax purposes Cancellation/Refund Policy: You can cancel your attendance and request a refund (minus $25.00 admin fee) up to 7 days prior to the course date. After that time there are no refunds. This policy includes last minute sickness. Fees cannot be transferred to future dates.
