Indie Head Massage Workshop
Description
In this workshop you’ll learn how to provide the ultimate stress relieving treatment for the upper body. We’ll focus on techniques for the upper back, shoulders, neck, upper arms, face and scalp. There will be a large emphasis on using MLD techniques in this variation of IHM, as the light, soothing strokes are incredibly relaxing yet also beneficial therapeutically. Upon completion, you’ll be able to add IHM onto your service menu as a stand alone treatment, or as an upgrade to your existing services. In this one-day hands on course, you’ll learn: History & Theory Benefits of IHM Precautions/Contraindications/Safety Massage techniques & modifications - hands on practical Bring your own linens & preferred lubricant. (Set of sheets and a face cradle cover are required. You may also wish to bring a blanket). Tables will be available to participants for training. Certificate of completion Receipt for tax purposes Space is limited to 10 participants Cancellation/Refund Policy: You can cancel your attendance and request a refund (minus $25.00 admin fee) up to 7 days prior to the course date. After that time there are no refunds. This policy includes last minute sickness. Fees cannot be transferred to future dates.
